Pricing

Course fee: 1500€ / person

Course fee includes:

  • online orientation
  • 1 week (6 days) onsite training
  • packed lunch on foraging days
  • transportation to and from foraging areas
  • meal on kitchen days (made during the kitchen day by course participants)
  • raw materials and equipment on kitchen days
  • aprons, collecting buckets, mosquito repellent shirts, sap balm and rubber boots
  • fishing gear and guide on fishing day
  • visit to a reindeer farm
  • final group dinner
  • diplomas

Please note that accommodation and travel expenses are not included in the course fee.

Every reservation will be charged a non-refundable reservation fee of 400€. The reservation fee will be invoiced to the address you provided upon registration within two weeks of your registration (payment term 14 days). The reservation fee is not an additional cost to the course. It is deducted from the overall course total. The rest of the course fee will be invoiced on May 1st, 2024.

Cancellation policy:

Reservation can be modified/cancelled by email only, please contact lappia-education(at)lappia.fi

Reservations cancelled by April 30th, 2024 – no cancellation fees apply and refunds of the total amount (excluding reservation fee) shall be granted.

Reservations cancelled on May 1st 2024 or after – no refunds shall be granted

Note that your reservation fee of 400€ is non-refundable.

Reservation does not expire even if the participant fails to pay the course fee.

Onsite training

Practical Onsite Learning with Sessions in the Wilderness and Professional kitchen

  • Orientation online prior to onsite training
  • Onsite training 1 week, including foraging and identifying the plants
  • Every plant, game or fish will be prepared into À la Carte- dishes
  • Utilization of natural products in food industry
