Student selection criteria

On this page, you will find information about the selection criteria and language proficiency requirements.

Vocational College Lappia selects students based on the admissions criteria for vocational upper secondary qualifications. The institution may reject an applicant for vocational education and training if the applicant does not have sufficient skills in understanding and using the language of instruction, both orally and in writing.

The selection criteria for rolling admission are as follows:

    • Motivation for the chosen field

    • Need for education (e.g. career change, lack of a degree)
