The Vocational College Lappia is situated in Finnish Lapland by the Swedish border. The headquarters of the College is situated in Tornio. In addition, it provides educational services in the towns of Muonio, Kolari, Pello, Tervola, Keminmaa, Kemi and Simo.

The College provides vocational upper secondary education in western Lapland. The central objective is to provide students with good professional knowledge and competence to be employed by themselves or by national or international employers. 

Lapland is not only known for its pure nature, Northern lights, Sampo Arctic Icebreaker, the world’s biggest SnowCastle and Santa Claus - it is also known for its wood and steel industries and technological expertise. Outokumpu Stainless Oy, Stora Enso and Metsä Group are internationally known companies situated close to the College.
